Monacolin K is a potent inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, an agent that acts as a regulator on the cholesterol synthesis rate. Red yeast rice acts as a HMG-CoA reductase deterrent (which the body needs to synthesize cholesterol) thereby reducing the percentage of cholesterol in your blood.

DIRECTIONS: Take 1 capsule during the day with water or any other liquid of your choice. The beneficial effect on cholesterol is obtained with a daily intake of 10 mg monacolin K from red yeast rice.

INGREDIENTS: Red yeast rice (Monascus purpureus, seeds) monacoline K 5%, gelatin (capsule), Emulsifier: microcrystalline cellulose, Policosanols 5% from cane sugar, Coenzyme Q10, Anti-caking agents: silica, magnesium stearate.
